Some Questions came up this evening:

What made you to start this project? What are your themes? What is Social Art? Why the Banyan tree, why not another one? Is the Banyan only a project icon for you or is it more? Please, could you tell us some more about the biological and cultural importants of the Banyan tree in other parts of the world? Is this tree everywhere related to the evil, to the devil? Do you have the Banyan also in Europe? Why do you have so many media art works in the project? In your personal opinion: is the Banyan Project sucessfull? How does it come, that you, a german artist is making this project, and not one from Fiji or Africa? How could you finance the project? How are the working circumstances for artists in Germany? How do you finanance your living? What is Social Art?

The discussion is a perfect start to the following 3 day Banyan Workshop a the Oceania Center
