The touring exhibition
THE BANYAN TREE ...

... starts in Thailand, goes later to Cambodia, Germany, Tahiti, Fiji, India, Guyana and many other places. It shows paintings, sculptures, videos, photos and installations by more than 50 artists from more than 20 countries, all inspired by the Banyan Tree. They have been collected by the German media artist Alfred Banze. With the help of the collected works of art, he organized numerous workshops for children and young people in schools, galleries, cultural centers and artists' studios. The exhibition displays both, the original artworks and the "Art Remixes" by children and young people.

Die Wanderausstellung
THE BANYAN TREE ...
